We are pleased to announce the addition of Brian Hilson to the Smartcare Team as a Software Engineer.
In his new role, Brian will be working with our engineering team to add new ongoing unique functionality to the Smartcare platform, which will help home care providers grow their business and optimize their operations.
Brian is passionate about software and how it can be used to improve the lives of those we care about and those taking providing care for them. He comes to us with a background in website and web application development. Before coming to Smartcare, Brian was the lead developer for an Internet application web development agency. There he led the development team in adopting modern programming standards and best practices. These changes led to new websites being easier to maintain, faster to develop, and better performing.
“I’m passionate about using software to improve our lives, especially in the field of health care.”, said Brian. “As the son of two nurses, I understand the challenges that caregivers face in caring for those we love. I’m excited to have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of caregivers and clients through my contributions at Smartcare.”
Brian grew up in Eau Claire and has a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
When not working, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and young children. He also enjoys running, biking, hiking, and woodworking.
